  1. i didn't have the can of mushrooms and the can of potatoes. so i omitted those and followed the 3 ingredients...surprisingly came out really good. so simple...so fast...and w/ big flavors! never would've thought looking at the list. i used kiebalski sausage. thanks for sharing..will make this many times!

  2. Great meal!! Tried it today, being a single guy, I was looking for something quick, easy, and for a better word cheap!! Something that was in my cabinets, all I had to buy was sausage, me being a country boy I used down-home sausage, added some bellpeppers and garlic, WOW!! It's something I'll serve to my friends, like I said, quick, easy, filling, and goes with beer!!

  3. I give this five stars b/c you would never, ever guess how good this is based on the ingredients. My family, who is very picky, loved this. We didn't have one bite left. I only had whole new potatoes from the can but they sliced easily. My husband loves fresh green beans so we are going to make this again using fresh instead of canned. I also added 1/2 tsp minced garlic (from jar) and Old Bay Seasoning while frying the onions and sausage. Highly recommended!

  4. What a pleasant surprise! I was running desperately behind one afternoon and decided to try this recipe since I had all of the ingredients on hand. DH and I were both surprised at how well the flavors combined to make a very tasty meal. This is one of those "sum is greater than the parts" dish.

  5. This was good and easy to make. I added five cans of green beans and one can of potato but I didn't add the mushroom. I let this simmer on the stove for about two hours and it was real good, even better the next day. I did add pepper also to the mixture.
