ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 lbs boneless beef top round steaks, 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 1 medium onion, halved lengthwise then thinly sliced
- 1 medium carrot, shredded about 1/3 cup
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
directions
- cut beef into 4 serving pieces; sprinkle with salt and pepper. In a 10 in, heat oil over medium high heat Cook 4-6 mins turning once until browned.
- spray 3-4 qt crock pot with cooking spray. Place meat over top of vegetables, in same skillet mix soup and tomato sauce pour over beef.
- cover cook on low heat for 8-10 hours stir sauce well before serving over beef.

I am a stay at home mom to a very active teenager, and toddler. DH and I love to cook together in our way. I find the recipes, then I watch him cook them LOL

<br>My family picks on me constantly as I have a thing with raw meat, it really skeeves me out so I can not touch it, which makes cooking on my own a challenge.
<br>
<br>DH is in the Air Force and sadly will be leaving sometime the beginning of next year to go play in the sand for a year, so I am currently on the lookout for dishes I can cook on my own or with my teen easily and with minimal touching of raw meat.
