directions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  • Get a cookie sheet, and line it with aluminum foil.
  • Place your 3 strips of bacon on the cookie sheet and place in the oven.
  • Keep Bacon in the oven until brown and crispy ( You want it Crispy, but not hard and not to soft).
  • While Bacon is cooking, Get some Papertowel, and the rest of your ingredients ready.
  • When Bacon is done take out of oven, and immediately take it of the pan, and transfer it to your papertowel to drain and cool.( May need a second papertowel to help blot oil.).
  • While bacon is cooking, put Chicken in a papertowel, and place in microwave for no more than 30seconds. ( you want chicken warmed completely through but not burnt and dried out for microwave.).
  • Now that the chicken is warmed and Bacon is cooled.
  • Take your Two Slices of Bread.
  • Added a slice of american, and cheddar to each slice.
  • Then add your warmed Chicken lunch meat ( The slice of bread that you have choose to be the bottom.
  • and top it off with your bacon. ( Its ok if your bacon is hanging out of the bread!).
  • Now top it with your top slice of bread.
  • When your done assembling your sandwich should be bread, cheddar cheese, american cheese, bacon, chicken lunch meat, american cheese, cheddar, and bread.
  • Now get your skillet, add your butter, and cook until bread is golden brown. and cheese is melted through like you would a normal grilled cheese.
  • *Do not worry about chicken o bacon not being heated focus on the bread, and cheese. That's why we heated the chicken in the microwave so it would be cold when you eat the sandwich.
  • *Also if you leave your bacon hanging out of the sandwich like my family likes then it will touch the skillet, and cook, but it will not burn if you have cooked you bacon right, and do not have your skillet to hot.
