  1. Oh My Goodness! These are outstanding! I halved the recipe (using 1 half of 1 sheet of puff pastry), but it went together so quickly, I couldn't believe it...I did use 1 mini muffin tin, and my quantity was 10. These would be lovely on a dessert tray, and luscious with an after dinner coffee! Thanks, Charmie777 for sharing a great recipe. Made for ZWT 5.

  2. Extremely easy to make, although I only made 12, so I would only have to use one muffin tin. Very tasty, although a little overly sweet. Based on previous comments I didn't add any powdered sugar, and they were plenty sweet without it. A good recipe, fast and easy, to try.

  3. Followed recipe exactly (darned if I know how y'all got the puff squares into the muffin tins without the pastry breaking and having to be repaired). The filling was rock hard. Even my young Grandsons turned these down after one bite.

  4. Oh My goodness, did I forget to review this? I am so sorry! These little treats were SOOOO yummy. They were super easy to throw together, and they tasted like pecan pie! I got so excited to eat these little guys that I forgot the powdered sugar. I am sorry! But they were definately 5 stars anyway!

  5. Excellent recipe!I could only find a package of "Pepperidge Farm Pastry Puffs" which led to some changes, I doubled the filling amount(6 pastry puffs)and had some leftover changed the bake time per the box and actually put the filling in halfway through. The puffs have a "lid" that I removed when I put in the filling and then allowed them to continue to bake alongside the filled puffs. Then replaced the "lids"and served when cooled. One bite and I decided they didnt need the powdered sugar---they were delicious as is. Addictive little morsels---you've been warned--:)PeggyLynn
