directions

  • *NOTE: Whirl the sugar in a mini-chopper or blender until finely ground. Basically, you've just prepared "superfine" sugar at a fraction of the cost.
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat combine the sugar and water. Cook, stirring until sugar is dissolved and liquid is clear. This should take only 2-3 minutes.
  • Transfer liquid to a pitcher and allow to cool.
  • Once cooled, stir in lime juice. Stir well.
  • Fill a large pitcher with ice cubes, pour in the simple syrup and the seltzer water.
  • Stir well and serve!

  1. YUM! I didn't mix the whole batch but am combining as I go. It's just me & I don't want it getting watered down & flat. This is tremendously refreshing! I think I'll keep some lime syrup in the fridge for the rest of the summer....made for the Cruisin' Culinary Queens of the Culinary Quest 2014. xo Bethie

  4. Wow, this was super. Such great flavor and a nice tart sweet balance. I especially liked that it was not too sweet, and the zing from the club soda made it really refreshing.
