  1. This looks soooo delicious. I wish i could cook like you, you should add this on Khal as they have a lot of sponsors there

  2. This is so addictive! I made hot air popcorn to fill a big plastic bowl and feel I could have had a little more popcorn as the liquid was more than enough. After storing overnight it was in one big ball but easily broke off once I picked the ball up and started breaking pieces off. I took to a St. Patrick's Day gathering of ladies at a church fellowship and those that tried it enjoyed the sweet taste. My coloring almost looked like slime so I think they didn't realize what a sweet taste was in store for them!

  3. Made this for st. Patrick's day. I just eyeballed the amount of popcorn and used 3 bags of light microwave popcorn. It might have been a tiny bit too much. Next time I'll use half a bag less. I cooked my sugars to 255 on the candy thermometer and it turned out great. I think next time I will try 250 as I like mine gooey. My kids loved this little green surprise. Thanks!

  4. Yummy! Made for the kids for St. Patrick's Day. Had one problem and I should have known better. Hard ball stage occurs between 250-265 degrees. I cooked to 250 on the candy thermometer and my mixture was too soft and gooey. Next time I'll be sure to cook it a little more. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

  5. Mmmm so good and so green! Tastes like caramel popcorn- sweet but only green. I agree with the other poster, salted peanuts would also be great with it. Thanks sydsmama! Made for TOTM's Tag It Green.

Tweaks

  1. Such a fun snack! I used about half the food coloring to give it a lighter color, which I found more appealing, visually. All in all a great and simple recipe!
