  1. This was delicious! I had extra stuffing, so I put it on top of the meat after I browned it. I also used beef stock in place of water and added garlic and mushrooms to the gravy. I had trouble keeping the stuffing inside the roll while it cooked, but the meat was very tender and we all enjoyed this. Thanks.

  2. I totally changed the recipe, I loved the idea, but I was using venison and it wouldn't pound thin enough, so i browned the meat, and then I used beer to deglaze the skillet, and added the cream of mush soup. I then put the stuffing on top and let simmer. I added a little water toward the end - but all in all a very good dish.

  3. MizzNezz the rolls were very good! I took the lazy way out and used Stove Top stuffing (doctored up ) instead of making my own. I also used beef stck in place of water and an extra can of soup. I added mushrooms, onions, garlic, green pepper and spices to the gravy (to suit our taste). I will make this again.

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
