  • In 8-inch skillet, cook and stir onion in 1 tablespoon oil until tender, about 4 minutes.
  • Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • Coat steaks with flour. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in same skillet; cook steaks over medium heat, about 4 minutes on each side.
  • Sprinkle with salt.
  • Place steaks on warm platter or dinner plates.
  • Drain fat from skillet. Add onion, sour cream and mushrooms (with liquid) to skillet; heat, stirring ocassionally.
  • Serve sauce on steaks.
  • Good on hot buttered egg (2 cups dry) noodles with a dash of parsley flakes mixed inches.
