- 2 lbs New York strip steaks, defrosted
- 1 cup butter, at room temperature
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 1⁄4 cup finely chopped Italian parsley
- 1 garlic cloves or 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
directions
- In medium bowl, cream together room temperature butter and parmesan cheese. With garlic press, squeeze the garlic into mixture. Add the Italian parsley and incorporate well.
- Just before grilling or pan-searing, smear, one tablespoon at a time on to each side of meat. There may be extra; you can place in a small bowl; the remainder can be brought to the table for others to spread on their steaks, if desired.
