  2. I have been meaning to try this for a long time. When I found I had leftover fresh strawberries I decided to make it! I ended up throwing in one banana and pureeing it with the strawberries. It smelled just wonderful and tasted even better! I'll make it again for sure! Thanks Erin!

  3. This bread is so yummy. I used fresh strawberries and believe that is what makes this so good. Very moist and the perfect breakfast bread. I served warm with butter. A winner.

  4. Quick, easy and absolutely delicious, especially with strawberry flavored cream cheese. Yummy!

  5. This was a good strawberry bread, though mine turned out a little dry and crumbly for some reason. I made a half recipe and added in some almonds and almond extract which I thought added in well. I liked that the strawberries were pureed as the chunks of strawberries usually turn into weird slimy pieces in my strawberry bread or muffins. Thanks for posting!

Tweaks

  1. Delish! Made just a few variations - substituted half the oil for applesauce, used the advised cup of strawberry puree and then added 3-4 berries finely chopped to the batter just before pouring into pans. The batter was just right to jeekp the pieces from sinking and added to the 'berriness'. REALLY good. Thanks for the recipe!
