  1. 1. Combine beef, garlic, green pepper, and red onion and cook in skillet until meat is brown.
  2. 2. Drain and add to crock pot.
  3. 3. Add spices, tomatoes, broth, BBQ sauce, and beans to crockpot.
  4. 4. Cook for 3-4 hours on high or 8 hours on low.
  5. 5. A few minutes before serving mix in cilantro, honey and lime juice.
  6. 6. Serve with sour cream and cheese, if desired.
