Directions

  1. Grease 8" square cake pan with butter.
  2. Melt peanut butter, brown sugar, corn syrup and butter either in saucepan on the stove or in the microwave.
  3. Stir until mixture is smooth and creamy.
  4. Add rice crispies and peanuts (optional).
  5. Mix it all together.
  6. Spread the mixture evenly in the pan using a spatula.
  7. Place in the refigerator to harden and cool.
  8. Melt the stick of butter, either on the stove or in the microwave.
  9. Add the cocoa and powdered sugar and stir until creamy.
  10. Pour the icing evenly over the cereal mixture.
  11. Place in the refigerator to harden again.
  12. Cut into squares and serve.
