  1. Made this tonight in a pinch. Glad I did - it was awesome! The kids loved it, even the super picky one! I did add some breadcrumbs, salt and pepper and some fresh parsley. Excellent, thanks ThatJodiGirl!

  2. Everyone in our house loved these. So simple and delicious. I did add some saltine crumbs to the meatball mixture. Next time I want to put a bit of rice (porcupine meatballs) in the meat. Thanks for a great one.

  3. These are the best. My family loves them. I make them in a skillet on the stove. They can be made ahead and reheated.

  4. I browned the meatballs before I put them in the crockpot and put the rest of the ingrediants in and turned on high until the jelly wasn't lumpy anymore and then just put on low for an hour. PERFECT!

  5. Really good recipe! I have tried this same recipe a number of different ways- making my own meatballs, using the frozen ones (when I was in a hurry), cooking them in the crockpot, and also cooking them on the stove. I did add an extra egg to this meatball recipe as it wasn't binding very well. I also added a little bit of garlic and black pepper to give some extra flavor to the meat. Thanks for posting!

I made this account back in 2001, when the site was called "Recipezaar". A lot has changed in my life since then. My kids are all grown and I try to eat a low-carb lifestyle now. Some of my older recipes were handed down from my grandmother. I hope you all enjoy them as much as I have. Current recipes that I post will mostly be low carb or keto.
