  1. The flavor of this is just outstanding! Only complaint was not enough stuffing. Even though my chicken was a bit dried and the food burnt around the edges (this is my crockpot's problem...it happens to me all the time :), I cannot give this less than 5 stars. The taste is just delicious. I used a box of stovetop-type stuffing mix and then sprinkled the seasoning on top before pouring on the melted butter. It cooked on high for 4 hours and my husband had to shut it off or it would have been totally ruined...I think probably 3 hours would have done it. I have a Rival 6.5 quart slow cooker and this happens all the time. I will be making this often...I will just cook it for less time or try it on low. Thanks for the recipe...I have done this one in the oven and am happy to have the crockpot version!

  2. This was just great! I halved the recipe (sort of) since I only had 3 chicken breasts and 2 of us to feed. I used all of the soup and milk that the recipe called for, but I split everything else. It came out just great. I cooked it on low for about 8 hours, and it was just right - the chicken was so tender! Yummy - I'll be making this again for sure.

  3. Very good, very easy to make - next time I will add a little more cheese, just my personal preferance! Thanks!

  4. Very good! I added some fresh garlic also and this came out extremely moist. Mine was done on high after about 3 and a half hours. Thanks for posting!

  5. A friend passed a similar recipe to me. You need to season your chicken before cooking. I used greek seasoning and Lowery's. Season is pretty well. Don't make the soup and milk mixure too thin. Try seasoning you chicken you family will love it!! I bake mine in a 350 degree oven until it is all cooked!!!!!!

Tweaks

  1. My mom fixes a dish almost just like this. Only she uses twice as much swiss cheese and cream of chicken soup. She also uses water instead of milk and half the amount of butter. And she bakes it at 350* for almost an hour. One of my favorite recipes!! :)
