  • In large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat; stir-fry pork, in batches, for 2 to 3 minutes or until browned but still slightly pink inside. With slotted spoon, transfer to plate.
  • Add onion, mushrooms, garlic, salt and pepper to pan; cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes or until no liquid remains.
  • Return pork to pan. Stir in sour cream and stock; cook, without boiling, for 1 minute or until hot. Stir in lemon juice.

  1. I can see this being a kid friendly dish...the hubby and I thought it was on the bland side...it does need more adult seasonings if you're not serving it to kids...I served it over spazlte with green salad as a side dish...made for "FYC" tag game...

  2. Soooo tender and the sauce is wonderful. We truly enjoyed this dish and will be making it again soon. Served alongside some polenta and a salad. YUM!

  3. Yum! This reminded me of beef stroganoff but with tender pork instead. We enjoyed this over some egg noodles and thought it was great comfort food. The only change I made was to add some umami seasoning (from Trader Joe's) because I forgot to add salt and pepper to flavor the pork and thought it needed a little more flavoring. At that point, I could have added the salt and pepper to the finished product, but I thought it would be a good time to try my new spice. it worked beautifully with this dish!

  4. Oh my goodness...This is pure comfort food, sinfully delicious. I did make one slight change, because I was out of sour cream, I used 1/3 cup cream cheese and it worked perfectly!

  5. Another wonderful recipe LL. Kudos on making it into my Best of 2019. The pork is so tender and flavorful and the sauce is to die for. Best of all its quick and easy to make and you can serve it to family or friends. It was wonderful served over broad egg noodles and garnished with fresh peas. Thanks so much for sharing this lovely recipe. Made for Autumn Fever 2019.
