"I use this pepper oil all the time. It's great with pot-stickers, steamed dumplings, etc. I make this just for myself, my husband and kids won't touch it, they think I'm nuts."

  • 1 cup peanut oil
  • 14 cup dried red chili pepper, crushed (or coarsely ground)

  • Heat oil in a wok on medium-high heat.
  • Add chili peppers.
  • Cook 3-5 minutes, or until oil becomes red.
  • Cool and store in a covered jar in fridge indefinitely.
