ingredients
- 3 eggs, room temperature
- 1 1⁄4 cups milk, room temperature
- 1 1⁄4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
directions
- heat oven to 450*F.
- in small mixer bowl beat eggs at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until light yellow.
- add milk, contiune beating for 1 minute to incorporate air.
- by hand stir in remaining ingredients.
- pour batter into greased 6 Celsius popover pan or 6 custard cups.
- bake for 15 minutes, reduce temperature to 350*F DO NOT open oven door.
- bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- insert knife in popover to allow steam to escape.
- serve immediately.
