Tender Whole Wheat Yogurt Pancakes

"I never would have guessed these were 100% whole wheat. Light, tender and so yummy. With the most minimal of ingredients. Got it off of a Bob's Red Mill flour bag."

  1. These pancakes are phenomenal. Everyone wolfs them down and asks for the recipe. I made them with plain nonfat yogurt and added a teaspoon of vanilla. Also added a teaspoon of cinnamon to the dry mix. Awesome! Pancakes come out light and fluffy.

  2. Absolutely delectable! I don't think I've ever found pancakes this tender and fluffy before! I dropped in blueberries to add fresh bursts of flavor which went very nicely with the whole wheat. My husband absolutely adored them and I plan on making them again this morning!

  3. Reduced recipe to half, used 2 small eggs and 1/4th cup milk. Also added vanilla, sugar and cinnamon. Got soft and tender fantastic pancakes.

  4. What an odd recipe. As written, it is very bland and very runny--pancakes had no flavor and were far too thin. No salt? No sugar? And 15?? From one cup of flour? Is the author punking us? I added more flour, some sugar, cinnamon, and some strawberry preserves. Salvaged it but with all the pancake recipes would not return to this one!

  5. Perfectly light and delicious! I used vanilla yogurt and added a pinch of salt. Easy, healthy and tasty. Thanks for sharing the keeper recipe.

Tweaks

  1. I used yogurt instead of milk for a total of 1.5 cups plain yogurt. Otherwise, I followed the recipe. They were a hit!
