- 1⁄3 cup and 3 tbs honey
- 16 tablespoons butter (2 sticks)
- 3⁄4 cup sugar
- 1⁄2 cup all-purpose flour or 1/2 cup gluten-free flour
- 4 1⁄2 cups old fashioned oats (oatmeal)
directions
- Melt the sticks of butter and the honey in the microwave. Place in a large bowl.
- Add the sugar and the flour and mix together to form a thick liquid.
- Add the oats and combine.
- Place the mixture on a 10" x 15" lined or greased cookie/baking sheet and PRESS FIRMLY (very important!).
- Preheat oven to 275 degrees for about 20 minutes until edges are golden brown and the middle looks molten.
- Cut into squares before entirely cool. ENJOY!
