The Very Best Sangria

"There is a popular Spanish restaurant in town where they are known for their sangria. After years of downing this delicious and potent quaff, I had to have the recipe. You may make this with either red or white wine. Do not leave out the cinnamon. Add sugar to your likeness. Personally, I don't like it too sweet. Careful... This packs a punch on those unsuspecting."

  1. This was very good. Its also very powerful . The first taste lets you know this sangria got a punch and it does. However it mellows out after that. The cinnamon is a nice touch. I doubled the recipe and most of my guests liked it. Thanks for the recipe and the buzz.

  2. This is a very nice sangria! I used the full amount of sugar as I do like mine a bit sweet. The cinnamon was a great touch and went well with the red wine. Thanks for posting this recipe! Made for Fall PAC 2009

  3. I served this at a large brunch gathering and had to make a second batch...hmmm...usually it's the beer that goes first (!!). I used white wine for a "white" sangria. Good job here, lots of compliments. Thanks!
