  1. I started with 3 tubes of crescent rolls. Cut each of the rolled up cinnamon rolls in 3 pieces. I then put them in a 13x9 baking pan. They were probably bigger than the original ones. But! That didn't make them last any longer!! These can vanish right before your eyes! They were absolutely yummy!! Such an easy way to get such a great treat! Thanks Nurse Di, these will be a regular here.

  2. There is a serious problem with this recipe. They are tiny and disappear into thin air immediately. I made them tonight and my whole family wants them bigger and lots more of them. Guess I'll be doubling your recipe and not cutting them into so many pieces. They are wonderful, easy and quick to make. Thanks for a great recipe.

  3. Oh so quick and oh so fabulous! These are so yummy for all their simplicity. I did put a layer of butter on the crescent rolls before the cinnamon/sugar. These were gone before they ever even cooled off!!

  4. These were wonderful. So easy to make. I had them in the oven in no time. I had just finished putting the icing on when my daughter and her friend walked in. They lasted about 5 minutes. Did'nt even get a chance to cool off!! Thanks for a quick and easy recipe, NurseDi (and also a very inexpensive one)

  5. These are wonderful. My kids helped me make these and we had the best time. They tasted great and were easy to prepare. We will make these again and again. Thanks!!

Tweaks

  1. These were super super easy. Last time I made cinnamon rolls, the out come was okay and the dough was a big pain so I thought I'd never make them again, but using premade rolls made it so much easier. I used Pillsburry dinner rolls which are already shaped like cinnamon rolls and used 1 1/2 T of brown sugar (instead of white sugar) and 1/2 T of cinnamon for the filling because I didn't think there would be enough if I just used the tsp amount, and it was just enough. But the icing was perfect mostly because I'm not a huge fan of a lot of icing so it was the perfect amount. And it only took about 20 minutes to make including baking time!

  2. This gets 5 stars just for the simplicity and taste!!! So easy to make, as 15 yo DS just loves cinnamon rolls. I did spread a little of butter on the rolls first, and then I used brown sugar instead of white sugar. I also doubled the amount of sugar and cinnamon. My DS loves the Cinnabon rolls/frosting so I found a copycat for the frosting, but didn't to go through the work of kneading/rising of the dough. He ate almost the full 8 oz. Thanks for posting such a quick and wonderful recipe!!!!

  3. These are so easy and quick to make! My kids ate them right up!!! I have made these twice. Once as posted then the second time, I subbed soy milk for the milk because my DS is milk allergic and he was crazy for these!! Thanks for posting this!

  4. These are delicious!! I like these better than the other refrigerated cinnamon rolls! My toddler is on his third one already. I think the next time I may use orange juice in the glaze instead of milk. Thanks for this great, quick recipe!

  5. These cinnamon rolls are so good! I mixed light brown sugar with the cinnamon. For the icing, instead of using vanilla, I used a drop of almond extract. This type of recipe is the best, because the dough is premade! Thanks for sharing.
