Ingredients: 1/3 cup olive oil; 1 onion, medium chopped; 4 garlic cloves, minced; 1 tablespoon basil (fresh & chopped... or 1 teaspoon dried); 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped; 1 1/2 teaspoons oregano (fresh & chopped... or 1/2 teaspoon dried); 2 (35 ounce) cans of italian peeled tomatoes (it is important that these be Italian grown tomatoes... look where they come from); 1 (8 ounce) can italian tomato paste (again important that these be imported from Italy); 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar; 1 teaspoon salt; 1 pinch ground pepper; 1/2 teaspoon thyme; 2 bay leaves; 6 Italian sausage (browned and cut in quarters)

ingredients

¹⁄₃ cup olive oil
1 onion, medium chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon basil (fresh & chopped... or 1 teaspoon dried)

1 ¹⁄₂ teaspoons oregano (fresh & chopped... or 1/2 teaspoon dried)
2 (35 ounce) cans of italian peeled tomatoes (it is important that these be Italian grown tomatoes... look where they come from)
1 (8 ounce) can italian tomato paste (again important that these be imported from Italy)
1 ¹⁄₂ teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt

6 Italian sausage (browned and cut in quarters)

directions

combine all ingredients into large stock pot.
cook at a simmer for 12 hrs stiring frequently.
serve over spaghetti or other pasta.
great with garlic bread/toast.
