  • Heat oven to 450.
  • Combine Bisquick with 4 Tablespoons butter using a pastry cutter or a large fork.
  • Add milk, and cheddar cheese.
  • Stir together.
  • Spoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes.
  • In a small sauce pan combine 2 Tablespoons butter, garlic powder and old bay seasoning.
  • Heat until butter is melted.
  • Spoon butter mixture over hot biscuits.
  • Eat em' up!
  • They are YUMMY!

  2. I used to work at Red Lobster and make those biscuits... I noticed that the recipe says to brush with butter before baking, however, when we made them at Red Lobster we actually brushed the biscuits with the butter as soon as we pulled them out of the oven.

Tweaks

  1. Instead of using just less than a stick of butter, add 2 extra tablespoons of butter to the biscuits. Double the amount of cheddar cheese, and you have a much stronger version of these biscuits.
     
  2. Instead of using a pastry cutter I free the butter and then grated it.....made it much easier to mix into the bisquick. My family loves this recipe......
     
  3. these were very tasty and easy to make.just don't substitute garlic salt for garlic powder.
