Turkey Corn Chili Ala Rachael Ray

  • Heat the oil in a deep pot over medium high heat.
  • Add the vegetables to the pot. Add the bay leaf and cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently, reducing heat if veggies start to stick.
  • Stir in diced turkey meat and season with chili powder, cumin, and cayenne sauce. Season with salt, to taste.
  • Add corn, tomatoes, and broth.
  • Mix well, adjust seasonings, reduce heat to medium low, and simmer for 7 to 10 minutes.
  • Enjoy!

  1. I loved this Chili. Very healthy and packed full of Flavor. I added a can of pinto beans w/jalapeno. We used tabasco sauce and ground cayenne pepper.We also used ground turkey. It's hard going from ground beef to ground turkey but this made it a winner. And definitely converted us. We love Ground Turkey!!!!

  4. Mmm, good use for leftover turkey or indeed any kind of cooked beef, pork, chicken, you name it, could be used. Hubby loved this.
     
  5. Made this tonight for supper, and it was very good. Only change was I added a can of black beans. This will be a nice change from the regular chili. I cant wait to have this again.
