This makes a very rich, sweet pudding. I tweaked the recipe some: I had to halve everything since my pudding came in a 3 oz package (not 6). I also cut up one banana and used my electric mixer to add it into the pudding to give it a more banana taste. I also avoided layering the wafers in the pudding as I wanted to keep it in the fridge over the next few days. When I served it, I added in the wafers (see photo). Overall a nice, quick pudding recipe. I'd try it with instant banana pudding, too.

This recipe looks interesting....but, then comes the "instant pudding". Was hoping for something with real homemade custard type pudding. So far, I have found only 2 recipes on 'Zaar that I'd use, and anything containing "instant pudding" would NOT be one of them. I like the amount of bananas, and the sour cream. I'll give this one a try, but NOT with anything "instant". Why wreck a perfectly good recipe?

We just recently moved from the city to a 45 acre farm in the country, with plenty of fruit and nut trees. All of this is a little overwhelming and has been a great learning experience for all.
