  1. Bialys replaced hoagies, sun-dried toms for red bell [out of bells)' Nancy's plain cream cheese, red leaf lettuce for iceberg and homemade Italian dressing. Perfect for the warm months as it requires no heating. We added a few fresh basil ribbons to our sandwiches. Thanks for posting. Added to our sandwich rotation.

  2. My eyes half open this am & I heard my DH say "A lovely dy today, honey. Andres will be here for breakfast at 11." I knew what that meant - we were goin fishin & I needed something fast, tasty & portable. I used reg sandwich bread (reg cream cheese on 1 side & 1000 Island on the other) + deli-slices of ham & salami. I put the add-ons in sandwich bags (included sliced egg & cucumber) & grabbed the cooler. This sandwich is now just known as "Uncle Bill". My eyes half-closed now & just heard my DH say "Can Uncle Bill go fishing w/us all the time & bring his twin brother?" I knew what that meant - great sandwich, but pls make 2 for everyone in the future. Thx Uncle Bill & G'Night ZZZZZZ

  4. Bill,Bill,Bill...I don't know what I'm going to do with all of your great recipes! I found out that my Super Walmart is not so super as they didn't carry the cream cheese that this recipe called for. I subbed Garden Veggie, added the Black Forrest ham, skipped the peppers but followed the rest as stated. This sandwich,to say the least, was FABULOUS! Thanks so much!
