  • Melt butter and oil in pan.
  • Add thinly sliced halved carrot.
  • Cook for 1 minute.
  • Add rest of vegetables which have been thinly sliced.
  • Add sugar.
  • Stir fry for a few min until just tender.
  • add salt at end of cooking.

  1. Put this on your table and besides a bowl of brightly colored vegetables you get a great taste. I only used 1 teaspoon of oil to cut back on the fat and then added about 2 Tablespoons of water. Made for *Zaar Cookbook Tag 2009* game
     
  2. A lovely vegetab le stir fry! I used just the green zucchini, peppers, carrot and added red onion, cauliflower and broccoli. As I was finishing cooking it I felt it was a wee bit dry so I added a couple of tablespoons of chicken broth and 2 tablespoons of soy sauce. We enjoyed it very much and will make it again.
     
  3. We had this last night with Sesame Chicken (Recipe #44321) and rice. The stir-fry was the perfect compliment. The only thing I added to the recipe was a few mushrooms. Thank you for a quick and flavorful stir-fry recipe.
