- 1 lb tortellini
- 4 ounces sweet butter
- 1⁄4 lb Westphalian ham, cut into thin strips
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1⁄2 cup fresh chives, thinly sliced
- 1 package frozen peas, thawed
- salt and pepper
directions
- Prepare tortellini according to directions on package.
- In a sauce pan, melt butter.
- Add ham and saute for one minute.
- Add the rest of the ingredients, and bring to a boil.
- Add cooked tortellini and mix well.
- Serve immediately.
