  • Combine Gelatin and Cold Water in small saucepan.
  • Let stand until thick.
  • Place over low heat, stirring constantly, just until Gelatin dissolves.
  • Remove from heat and cool, but do not allow to set.
  • Whip Cream, Sugar and Vanilla until slightly thickened.
  • While beating slowly, gradually add Gelatin to Whipped Cream mixture.
  • Whip at high speed until stiff.

  3. I use this recipe all the time, but instead of the vanilla, my recipe calls for cherry schnapps.
     
  4. very light and airy but not as sweet as i hoped it would be. but then i put it in the fridge for later and it turned into a jello-like texture. plus i doubled the recipe to cover a 9x13 cake. awesome icing but could use extra flavor, next time i will try adding sometihing
