Ingredients Nutrition

  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 2 teaspoons almond extract
  • 14 cup sugar
  • 1 cup slivered almonds

Directions

  1. beat eggs, 2 cups sugar and salt in bowl until light.
  2. add mixture of flour and butter.
  3. add extract -- mix well.
  4. pour into greased and floured 9x13" baking dish.
  5. sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar and sliced almonds.
  6. bake at 325* for 30 minutes.
