  1. We replaced applesauce with go-go squeeze pouches, canola oil with light olive oil, and raisins with chocolate chips. Yum!

  2. This is really good!!! Instead of applesauce I used mashed banana and instead of raisins; chopped dates. Loved it!

  3. Excellent! This recipe is so adaptable! I use different spices and chopped dried fruit every time I make them. Top notch!

  4. Excellent! DH says they are a little "healthy tasting" but still loves them (as does the rest of the fam)! I also used blueberries instead of raisins and it worked great!

  5. This recipe works great with blueberries (substituted for raisins) - very tasty, easy to make, and wholesome.

  3. Great recipe, I added orange rind and cranberries instead of the raisins and just undercooked them a little to make them extra moist. They were a bit hit!

  4. These are definitely not a dessert muffin but they are perfect to go with a morning coffee. I did everything as instructed except I added 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract and I replaced half of the canola oil with skim milk. Next time I may try these with a 1/2 cup of chopped dates. I have a feeling that this is a recipe I will be using over and over when I go back to school next September.

  5. The possibilities with these muffins are ENDLESS! I replaced all the oil with a lite cinnamon applesauce & I've never had a more moist muffin! I replaced the raisins with 1/4 cup mini choc chips but I'll try chopped frozen strawberries & 1 cup mashed bananas. I also added 1/2 cup Splenda for a sweeter muffin. Thanks so much!
