Whole Wheat Croutons

ingredients

  • 4 slices whole wheat bread
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 12 teaspoon garlic salt

directions

  • Cut the bread into 1 inch cubes. Mix together the bread cubes, melted butter, chopped parsley and garlic salt.
  • Spread on one layer deep on a baking sheet and toast in a 300 degree oven for 20 minutes or until crisp.

  1. Very easy! AND tasty!!! I used some homemade wheat bread and cut them a bit bigger because I love croutons in soup instead of crackers. I also subbed garlic POWDER for the garlic salt, since I didn't want the extra sodium. Made for Spring 2011 PAC game.
