1 cup butter, softened
¹⁄₂ cup white sugar
¹⁄₂ cup Splenda sugar substitute (12 packets)
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons hot water
¹⁄₂ teaspoon salt
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts

directions

Preheat oven to 350°F
Blend butter, sugars, and splenda.
Beat in eggs, on at a time. Stir in vanilla. Dissolve baking soda in water, then add to batter. Add salt, flour, chocolate chips, and nuts.
Drop batter by large spoonfuls onto pans. Bake 10 minutes.
