  1. Really yummy stuff! I used lime juice and fresh basil for mine and served it generously over salad and grilled chicken.

  2. I omitted the garlic and basil as I do not have the latter. I used 1/2 cup of yogurt, 1 tbsp. lemon juice and 1 tbsp honey. Mixed this well in a bowl and tossed in 1 can of Red Kidney Beans. Mixed it all well and within 5 minutes my parents and were enjoying every spoon of this! Thanks for sharing it, we had this for dinner today and love it. It's definitely a Keeper!

  3. I did not care for this dressing. It is oddly sweet. Maybe with half as much honey I might like it more. I like sweet foods. Sweet just did not make sense here to me. Perhaps if I made macaroni salad with the dressing it would be ok. For serving on spinach with boiled egg and veggies it just did not work. I did not add salt to reduce the sweetness for fear of thinning the dressing too much. Maybe that would have helped. Thanks for sharing the recipe though.

  4. This is really good! I only used 1/2 a clove of garlic, added an extra teaspoon of honey, and used bottled lime juice. I also used more fresh basil about 3 large leaves total. We used it as a veggie dip and as a salad dressing as well. What a wonderful way use the fresh basil that is growing faster than we can eat! *** Update - my husband took the last little bit to work the next day with his salad and he said it was too sweet. Either the honey settled because I didn't stir really well or the extra honey I added made it sweeter the next day as the flavors blended. I'm going to make another batch now with some fresh yogurt.
