  1. Excellent saute. I sliced up yellow squash with the green zucchini to add some color to the saute and then instead of parsley I added cilantro because I love cilantro in everything. It was wonderful and a hit at the dinner table with my family and our guests.

  2. Delicious and so easy! The only difference is that we sliced the zucchini a bit thicker- no biggie. I too love the addition of parsley- so fresh and unique!

  3. I thought this might be bland due to the lack of herbs and spices, but we found it to be very tasty. I used white onions and vine-ripened tomatoes which imparted a lovely sweet flavour. I cut the cooking time by a few minutes in steps 2 & 3 as we like our vegetables to retain some crispness. Will make again!

  4. I've been making this dish for about as long as I've lived in Israel (23 years this past March), but for some reason never thought to add parsley! Wow, what a difference it makes to this dish! Thanks so much for the new slant. I think I'll try it with coriander next.

I started cooking seriously in November, 2002. After 30 years of marriage I thought that my wife a well deserved vacation from the kitchen. The kids are grown and out of the house so I am looking forward to retirement when I can devote more of my time to my newest hobby.
