  • Mix the butter, flour, and egg yolks in a mixing bowl into a dough and refrigerate overnight. Keep your egg whites.
  • Shell and Grind walnuts.
  • Stiffly beat egg whites.
  • Mix walnuts and egg whites with remaining ingredients. This is your filling.
  • Form approximately walnut size balls of dough and roll very thin. Spread about a tablespoon of filling on the dough. Gently roll up the dough and pinch the ends. Place seam down on an ungreased baking sheet.
  • Bake 10-15 mins at 400 degrees.
  • After baking, roll in powdered sugar when they are cool enough to handle.
