Update: Since 2014 I have become extremely lactose intolerant, and have cut all milk products out of my diet. My Dr. advised me to cut out all wheat and gluten as well, so I have. I feel so much better, no more intestinal distress! I feel normal again. However, this has drastically changed my cooking and eating habits. Dinner is no problem, but breakfast and lunch are a bit challenging without wheat at first, lol! I have always loved asian food, and can still eat that, since it does not use cheese, milk or wheat as a rule. Authentic Mexican, african and caribbean food also work for me, and are delicious. I do miss some of my greek favorites, so I found the cookbook 'Mediterranean Paleo Cooking', by Caitlin Weeks & chef Nabil Boumrar. This books' recipes are allergy friendly, no gluten, grains, dairy. I can't wait to try the Paleo Moussaka!
