I own and operate a western sports bar, "Hanks Sports Bar & Grill" in China that caters to mostly western expatriates here. Although I have hundreds of my own recipes I still like to turn to cooking sites such as this one to get new ideas. Living in China offers some challenges as not all the foods and ingrediants we are used to can be found here. I either have to substitue, import and many times my customers will bring items back from the states for me. On the other hand there is a large variety of new and tempting ingrediants to play with.
