Alain's Version of Mel's Beef Burger

- 1 (6 g) package beef gravy mix
- 4 hamburger buns with sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons butter, divided
- 16 ounces steak, thinly sliced
- 1 medium onion, julienned
- 2 teaspoons relish
- 2 teaspoons prepared mustard
- 4 slices processed cheese (or your favorite unprocessed cheese)
directions
- Prepare gravy mix according to package directions.
- Split hamburger buns, and butter the insides.
- Grill buns in a hot skillet until browned; set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt 1 tablespoon butter, sauté the steak and onion for 5 minutes.
- Pour in 3 ounces gravy; simmer until liquid has reduced by half.
- Dress the bottom halves of the buns with relish and mustard.
- Top with steak and onions and a slice of cheese.
- Serve with plenty of napkins!
- Makes 4 servings.

<br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
