Directions

  1. Preheat oven 400°.
  2. Remove sausage from casings and shape into 6 burgers.
  3. Place a tablespoon or so of minced pepper in center of each burger and press into meat.
  4. Combine sauce and cilantro and spoon over burgers.
  5. Bake uncovered, basting occasionally, for 20-25 minutes, or until completely cooked.
  6. Place a piece of cheese on top of each burger just before serving.
