- 1⁄2 cup raisins
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 3⁄4 cup dark brown sugar
- 1⁄4 cup grated orange zest
- 3⁄4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 2 apples, peeled and finely chopped
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1⁄2 teaspoon mace
- 1 cup water
- 1⁄2 teaspoon curry powder
- 4 cups fresh cranberries
- 3⁄4 cup orange juice
directions
- Combine first 4 ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, 30 minutes.
- Stir in vinegar and next 6 ingredients. Return to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, 30 minutes.
- Stir in cranberries and remaining ingredients; simmer, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes. Cool. Chill 8 hours or overnight.
