Exquisite Apple Pie
"This is an authentic and easy apple pie to make. I couldn't believe how delicious it came out. I got the recipe from a box of minute tapioca. I will never make no other apple pie than this one ever again. Everyone loves it at my house. Serve with vanilla ice cream for a sweet dessert!!!"

- 6 cups sliced apples
- 2 tablespoons minute tapioca
- 3⁄4 cup sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 nine inch pie crusts
directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Mix fruit, tapioca, sugar, and flavor additions in bowl.
- Let stand for 15 minutes.
- Line 9 inch pie plate with pie crust.
- Fill with fruit mixture.
- Dot with butter.
- Cover with top crust; seal and flute edges.
- Cut several slits in crust.
- Bake in oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until juices form bubbles that burst.
- Cool.
- Serve with vanilla ice cream.
