- Preheat oven to 300.
- Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in sugar.
- Melt butter in a large pat 10x15x1 (I use jelly roll pan). Add nuts to egg mix and stir to coat each nut.
- Press into butter and spread one layer thick.
- Bake 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes until all butter is absorbed.
- Spread nuts on brown paper to cool.
- Break apart any nuts that are stuck together.
- May be stored for several weeks in a sealed container.
