- 1 cup self rising flour
- 1⁄2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine (set it out for 8-10 minutes or so)
- 1⁄2 cup sour cream
directions
- Mix the ingredients together.
- Roll the dough and cut the biscuits about 1/2 inch thick.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes (oven variation)**I use a cast iron biscuit skillet.

The taste of these biscuits was great, however, it seemed like there were ingredients missing. The biscuits were far from fluffy. In fact, they stayed 1/2" tall when cooked. I don't know if it was something I did or if they should have been allowed to raise or what. Next time I will probably add some pepper jack cheese to them and drop them instead of rolling them out.
