My husband always complains when I "fiddle" with a recipe before trying it, so I followed this one exactly. Sorry but if I make this again I'll be "fiddling". The texture and consistency were fine when using ground chicken, but I thought it lacked in the flavour department (I used Bullseye BBQ sauce). If I make them again I think I'd add sage or tarragon and more garlic.

Very good recipe. Have made it twice. The first time I used a bbq sauce of which I was not too happy, the sauce was kind of strange. Furthermore I think I made them too small too. Anyway, I decided to make them again and substituted the bbq sauce for ketchup with a few dashes of hot sauce. Also made the burgers larger (regular size burgers). These were perfect! Instead of grilling I baked them in the oven on a sheet of parchment paper, lightly brushed with oil, At 350F they were baked 15 minutes on each side. The result was a moist, compact burger, very tasty! Also, since the ground chicken was very lean I added an egg as suggested. Very pleased with the result. Thanks for posting.
