  • Chop up cheese (3 slices on top of each other at a time) and separate. Chop up rest of lunchmeat and separate. Mix all together well. Chop lettuce, tomatoes and onion (I use a food processor placing a bit of each in at a time). Mix in mayonnaise until well mixed. Add remaining seasonings to taste. Mix VERY well. Let stand in refridgerator over night. **Tip: if you don't have time, place in freezer for 1 hour and then in fridge for 2**. Let stand at room temperature for at least 1 1/2 hours before serving. Will be watery. Mix well. Slice baguette (or thin italian bread) bread into thin small pieces and serve.

  1. I was born & raised in Philly, used to fish for flounder in Briganteen Bay & I have several recipes posted on RecipeZaar from South Philly. This is one I've never seen & I will absolutely try it. Thanks for posting it. Alan Leonetti

Hi there! My name is Lauren and I am new to cooking and baking. However, I have many "old" passed down recipes from my family. I love learning new things to make cooking easier and just plain better!:)
