Italian Sausage & Potatoes

“Great, simple recipe I received in the mail from my friend Nicole. She said her Mom used to cook this when she was married to an Italian man. A good idea is to mash the potatoes a little and add some butter, and serve with Italian bread.”

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 package Italian sausage (hot or sweet or turkey, it doesn't matter, it is all good!)
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 -5 potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
  • salt and pepper (to season)

Directions

  1. Cut sausage in half, and put all ingredients in a casserole dish with 1 cup of water.
  2. Season with salt and pepper and cover.
  3. Bake at 350 for an hour (or until potatoes are tender).
  4. Remove lid for the last 15 minutes to brown.
