Directions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions, drain.
  2. Crumble sausage into Dutch oven.
  3. Cook over medium heat until no longer pink; drain.
  4. Stir in the spaghetti sauce and cooked pasta.
  5. In a bowl, combine the egg, ricotta cheese and mozzarella cheese.
  6. Spoon half of the pasta mixture into a greased shallow 3-quart baking dish.
  7. Layer with the cheese mixture and remaining pasta mixture.
  8. Cover and bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 40 minutes.
  9. Uncover; top with Romano cheese.
  10. Bake 5 minutes longer or until heated through.
