- 1 cup water
- 1⁄2 cup low sodium chicken broth
- 1⁄4 teaspoon lawry's garlic salt with parsley
- 1⁄2 teaspoon butter
- 1⁄2 cup mahatma whole-grain brown rice
directions
- Combine water, chicken broth, salt, and butter in a small cooking pot with a lid. Heat in Medium-High setting.
- Once boiling, stir in the brown rice.
- Set heat setting to Low-Medium (lowest boil to simmer). Set timer to 45 minutes or until liquid is completely absorbed.
- Once done, turn off heat and let rest for about 10 minutes. Fluff and serve warm.
