Spinach Dip in a Bread Basket

- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 1⁄2 cups light sour cream
- 180 g water chestnuts, drained and chopped
- 40 g sachet onion soup mix
- 1 (300 g) box frozen spinach, thawed & squeezed dry
- 1 loaf , break (round)
directions
- Slice a lid off the top of the bread and scoop out the inside. Tear the inside bits into bite sized pieces.
- Mix together the remaining ingredients and put into the hollowed out bread.
- Serve on a plate surrounded by the bread pieces for dipping.

I was after a recipe that a friend had made just like this but this didnt taste the same to me although was very good just a little strong in flavour. I added the green onions to mine and might try adding another half cup of sour cream next time and then it should be perfect. I forgot to take a picture but it looked great! TY Frickers Mum
